Pictures of summer

Since I didn’t have a chance to write anything during the summer and it is too late to blog a real account of it, here are some pictures.

We went to find family and, boy, did we.

We went to find family and, boy, did we.

Marik got a first look at beautiful Pumpkin Ridge.

Now, that is a place with soul.

We all got our first chance to see several new cousins: Larken

Forest

Edie Pearl

Right off, we all went to the beach and ate sand together.

Some even hold the opinion that sand tastes good, if mixed with ketchup or ranch dressing.

The Oregon coast has sand and atmosphere…

…and mystery.

We had lots of fun everywhere in Oregon and Washington.

We shared Czech spa wafers with the cousins.

We made lots of art.

We played girlie games with friends.

And you know what cousins proverbially do.

Shaye had her name day with a beautious pink cake.

We celebrated Marik’s birthday with a pinata.

He even got a wack at it himself.

And he got a yellow bus cake, because yellow busses are VERY important to Marik.

But that doesn’t mean he gets to blow out his candles, because he does have a big sister after all.

We will miss everyone soooooo much.

Absolutely beautiful pictures. the one of the ocean is gorgeous and as I love cats, i loved the green eyes on the black and white tuxedo. How tall is Shaye?, she looks like tall in her name day picture. I have large cats, but that one is huge. 🙂

Thank you, so much, Arie, for all these beautiful photos. I wish I could have been there to meet your beautiful little ones. We had a wonderful time with Larken, Forest and everyone else at Tim’s wedding last weekend.
